The new album is out in the world. Just like that. After months of preparation before going into the studio, to a week of super fun recording, and then weeks of listening to mixes and masters, and fundraising via Kickstarter, and designing all of the things we have arrived at the moment that is really the heart of it all - performing the new album for as many people as we can and taking it out on the road.

We had a great kickoff at the WYO Theater May 21 performing the new album in its entirety as well as a set of favorites and rarities. We loved it. It was fun to be selling the CD and the vinyl before it actually became available on streaming services.

Then on the actual national release day we did a show at the Matthews Opera house in Spearfish and celebrated with our friends in the Black Hills. The Matthews is a cool old building with lots of character, reportedly haunted by a friendly woman in a white dress, and we had a blast performing the album again start to finish and a new list of some favorites and rarities afterwards. Post-show shenanigans included meeting up with friends and then staying up very late solving the worlds problems.

We headed off to Casper in the morning to perform at the 20th anniversary NIC Fest and enjoyed the super fun, family friendly festival in downtown Casper. Since it was an hour set, we once again just played the new album, start to finish. We love the new record so much, it's so fun to play it live start to finish, it just has a great feel.

And now we're off on our album release tour - writing from a hotel in Dillon, MT, headed to Boise for the first of 6 shows in a row, all but one of them in Oregon. We love Oregon, and we love getting to travel this new album around the country this year. Looking forward to a trip through Craters of the Moon tomorrow, as well as a dip in a hot spring. Hope to see you out there on the road!
